About Watermark Image
A text watermark makes ownership visible on the image itself: a photographer's name across client proofs, 'DRAFT' over unapproved artwork, a copyright line in the corner of portfolio pieces. Convertora's image watermark tool stamps your text onto up to 10 images at once, with a choice of placement — centered, tucked in the bottom-right corner, or tiled diagonally across the entire frame — plus controls for font size and opacity.
The text is drawn directly into the image's pixels on a canvas in your browser, so the watermark is part of the picture, not a removable layer, and the files never leave your machine. The tiled mode repeats the text diagonally across the whole image, which is the placement that actually deters reuse: a single corner mark can be cropped away in seconds, but a tile pattern overlaps the subject everywhere.
How to use it
- 1Upload up to 10 images — JPG, PNG, or WebP, up to 50 MB each.
- 2Type the watermark text: a name, '© 2026 Your Studio', 'PROOF', or anything else.
- 3Pick a position. Center places one instance in the middle; Bottom Right puts a discreet mark in the corner; Tiled repeats the text diagonally across the full image.
- 4Set the font size (8-200 px) and opacity (0.1-1.0). The default — 36 px at 0.3 opacity — reads clearly without burying the photo.
- 5Click to apply. Each image is processed and downloaded with a '-watermarked' suffix.
Common use cases
- Marking client proofs so unpaid previews can't quietly become final deliverables.
- Adding a copyright or studio name to photos before posting them publicly.
- Stamping 'DRAFT' or 'CONFIDENTIAL' on visuals circulated for internal review.
- Branding a batch of listing photos with a business name in one pass.

Tips
- For proofs, use Tiled at around 0.3 opacity with a font size large enough that each repetition crosses the subject — that's the combination that's genuinely tedious to remove.
- Keep an unwatermarked original archived. The watermark is permanent in the output file, so deliverables must come from the clean source, not from the proof.
100% private — runs in your browser
Convertora processes everything on your device using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Files never leave your browser, are never uploaded to a server, and are never seen by us or anyone else. The moment you close the tab, the data is gone — there is no temporary cloud copy, no log entry, no retained backup.
Because the work happens locally, processing speed depends on your device — but there are no rate limits, no daily caps, and no file size restrictions beyond what your browser can handle in memory. No signup, no account, no payment. The tool works the same in incognito mode, on a corporate network, or after the page has loaded once, even with the network disconnected.
