Does it support older .doc files?

Only .docx (the format Word has used since 2007). For a legacy .doc file, open it in Word, LibreOffice, or Google Docs and save it as .docx first.

Why doesn't the PDF look exactly like my document does in Word?

The converter rebuilds the document from its structure rather than replicating Word's layout engine, so fonts, spacing, and table styling are standardized. Content and reading order are preserved; exact visual layout is not. For pixel-perfect output, use Word's own Export to PDF.

Are images in the document included?

No — the current converter renders text content only. Documents that depend on embedded images, charts, or text boxes will come out as text. This is the main limitation to check before relying on the output.

My document failed with an error about characters that can't be rendered. Why?

The built-in PDF fonts cover Latin-script text (including accented Western European characters). Documents containing Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, or emoji can't currently be converted — the tool reports this clearly rather than producing garbled output.
