Why does my PNG look blurry?

It was rasterized smaller than it's being displayed. Pick a higher scale — 3x or 4x — so the pixel dimensions meet or exceed the largest size at which the image will be shown. The SVG itself has no resolution; the scale you choose sets it.

Is transparency kept?

Yes — areas with no SVG content come out transparent in the PNG, ready to sit on any background. (The PDF output places the artwork on a page instead.)

Do external fonts and images inside the SVG work?

External references are not fetched during conversion. Fonts fall back to browser defaults unless they're system fonts or already loaded; linked images should be inlined as base64 data URIs. Self-contained SVGs — which exports from Figma, Illustrator, and Inkscape can produce — convert most predictably.

What sets the output dimensions exactly?

The SVG's declared width/height, or its viewBox when explicit dimensions are missing, multiplied by your chosen scale. If your SVG declares tiny nominal dimensions, even 4x may be small — edit the width/height attributes up, or set a larger viewBox-based size before converting.

About SVG to PNG

SVG is the right format for logos, icons, and diagrams — infinitely scalable, tiny, editable as text. But the wider world often wants pixels: chat apps and social platforms won't render uploaded SVGs, office documents handle them inconsistently, and many CMSes block them outright (an SVG can contain scripts, so platforms are wary). When that wall appears, you rasterize.

How to use it
